What if….. An interesting idea to explore. The world is far more than logic and reason, far more than just a scientific study. Join me as I explore this side of my journey. who knows where it will take me.

HAVOC - Having A Voice Of Creativity - isn't just a clever acronym; it's an invitation to see the world reimagined, where disruption becomes a gateway to deeper artistic truth. Each image in the HAVOC series defies conventional boundaries, transforming everyday scenes into explosive celebrations of color and movement. What might seem like random splashes of hue reveal themselves as carefully orchestrated visual symphonies, where each fragment tells part of a larger story of creative liberation.

As I have explored photography and the various genres I have realised that the kind of images I want to make lean more and more to the fine art side of things. not that I even sure what that is. According to Ariel Wilson “Fine art photography is the intentional use of photography as your artistic medium of choice, used to further your conceptual idea,”. These galleries are my exploration of this idea.

There is a realm where visible light surrenders to invisible frequencies, and from this a different kind of photographic poetry emerges. These infrared images reveal a world that exists just beyond our natural perception. Like whispers from a parallel dimension, they transform familiar landscapes into ethereal dreamscapes, where foliage glows with inner light and skies deepen into dramatic expanses of otherworldly contrast. Through long exposures these photographs don't just document scenes - they unveil the hidden energy pulsing beneath the surface of our everyday world, inviting viewers to glimpse reality through a lens that defies conventional sight and challenges our understanding of what photography can reveal.

New Zealand is a beautiful country, with dramatic coastlines, beautiful mountains and expansive national parks. New Zealand lies halfway between the equator and the south pole which means out weather cam be quite spectacular. Throw in the fact that we live on a plate boundary, with the volcanoes and earthquakes that accompany that, this is a young and ever changing landscape. The galleries within is the landscape I am blessed to live in

This project has been going on in one form or other since I first picked up a camera, but took a major step forward at the 2012 air show at Ohakea air base. Where a group of professional aviation photographers spent the day with me giving me tips and encouragement. The community is amazing and has given me so many opportunities, Thanks to everyone that makes this such a fun project, These galleries of images (broken down by plane type) are growing all the time so make sure you check back often.

Photography is more than a search for perfection or “to be the best”. It’s a chance to document those things that capture our imagination. I have been interested in space and astronomy for as long as I can remember. This collection on images is my way of enjoying this passion. Most of the images have been captured from my backyard and celebrate that astronomy is not just for the amazing few, but something we can all enjoy,
